Some serious changes occurred in the activity of the association during the last two years. We joined newcomers - three Russian companies BERG (Moscow), Mikado (Saint-Petersburg), Rusimportcomplekt (Saint-Petersburg) and one Ukrainian company AlMar from Donetsk. Starting from 2007 the Group Auto CIS was transformed into the Group Auto Union - Russia. Companies registered outside the territory of Russia were released from the Group and start forming new national groups as separate members of Group Auto Union International.

Today 12 Russian companies are the members of the Group Auto Union - Russia. All of them are the leaders on their market segments and territories. It gives us resources to expand our presence and reinforce positions on the market.

Now we can definitely say that the Group has successfully passed the stage of its forming and positioning on the market. More than that our target today is to develop the strategy of the Association by its transformation into the dynamic business group which would be able to propose long-term and mutually advantageous partnership to the suppliers. We consider application of the EURO GARAGE project in Russia as to be the initial step towards this way. In this connection we appreciate support of the Group Auto Union International suppliers and the dynamics of our partnership development.
